Blogiversary// Two Years of The World According to Cathers

2 years! I can’t believe I’ve managed to make it 2 years blogging! I’m enjoying blogging more than ever and for the moment I’m not going anywhere. (I’ll caveat that with last night we watched The Secret She Keeps which definitely freaked me out a bit! Have you watched it yet? What did you think?)

See here for my musings on my first year of blogging. It feels like I’ve been blogging forever and it makes me think back to what I did in my spare time before blogging… I’m so grateful for each one of you who’s come by my blog and keeps doing so. Instagram is great for many things but it is really a highlight real and this blog is where I like expand on things and a place for me reflect.

Lockdown has revitalised my love for blogging and as I’ve looked to expand my little blog’s reach, I’ve joined a couple groups where new bloggers help each other out with any queries and we look to read each other’s blogs. I also joined bloglovin’ where again I’ve discovered some great blogs and it’s also helped to give me lots of inspiration.

Earlier this year saw the blog have a face lift. I decided to move the blog across to WordPress and give it a refresh. I hope you’ve liked it and find it easier to get around! Of course it had to be pink… If you’re a blogger looking for an easy to use but professional looking theme check out pipdig which I’ve used since I started.

Here’s a roundup of some blogs I love to go to see what they’re up to and to get my reading fix:

Lifestyle blogger:

Food inspo:

As I did in my first year of blogging, here’s a roundup of some posts from the past year of blogging:

Travel (see the whole section here):

Day Trips (see the whole section here):

Food (see the whole section here):

Restaurants:

Recipes:

Musings (see the whole section here)

Monthly recaps (see here)

There’s definitely been times when I thought what’s the point of all this. I love snapping little shots of my life here and there and sharing them. I’ve a self-professed food photo taker and I spent a long time being made feel embarrassed… but you ask me for a recommendation of somewhere tasty to eat or want to see what somewhere looks like, give me a few mins and I’ll find that pic on my phone!

Thank you for coming to this little site every now and again and checking up on me J I’m not going to be stopping any time soon so here’s to my third year of blogging!

Until next time,
Cathers xx
