October Friday Favourites

Thought I’d share some of my favourites this Friday! I have a Nursery Reveal post coming very soon, I just need to take some pics, edit and upload! So favourites it is…

These are a few bits I’ve discovered this week or am loving at the moment.

Little Baby Company: I came across them via RVK Loves (Rebecca of Roses and Rolltops) and have been lost in their Not on the High Street shop!

Baby Bjorn Carrier: I’ve started taking the little man out for walks about 5pm to pass some time after his dinner before bath time. He gets quite restless about this time and a walk outside calms him right down. I put him in world facing and he loves it!

California Shutters: We finalllllly got our shutters fitted at the end of August and I love them! They’re so easy to use and just elevate all the rooms. I’m a huge fan!

Peanut: I finally downloaded the peanut app this week and I’m enjoying it so far. A friend had mentioned it a while ago and that she’d made some local mummy friends so I thought I’d finally take the plunge! It’s like tinder for mummys! You swipe to ‘wave’ at someone and if they wave back you ‘connect’ and start chatting. There are also groups you can follow, ask questions for advice and answer others. I wish I’d done it sooner but better late than never!

Burford Garden Company: I love a good garden centre and Burford is amazing! It’s in the Cotswolds and doesn’t just have the most amazing selection of indoor and outdoor plants, but also a huge range of house bits and bobs, amazing food and lifestyle stuff. It also has an art gallery! You can get lost there for hours which we did when we visited in August. It’s back on my list of places to visit ahead of Christmas for some pressies!

This week I’m keen to try this recipe for Rory by Annabel Karmel – Chicken and Veggie Stars. Her Instagram is a great source of inspo for baby meals!

Breastmilk jewellery: One of my friends got a ring made as a way to signify her breastfeeding journey and I think its such a lovely idea! I’m 100% going to get this done when I finish. I love this design.

Bee knocker: Yes, I’m late to the party… but I’d love one of these bees for the front door!

Chelsea Peers pjs: These long pjs look perfect for these cooler evenings and I’ve heard they rival the more expensive White Company ones. They’re less expensive so I think they’re going to go on the Christmas List!

Apple Bundt Cake: I want to try making this recipe but need to buy myself a bundt tin first! This screams Autumn… apple cinnamon goodness <3

Art: We’re looking for a landscape painting to go over our bed and I’d love a seascape of some sort. I love Nina Brook’s paintings from a bird’s eye view of the sea. This is one of my favs.

Until next time,
Cathers xx
