Our Wedding// Second Wedding Anniversary – The Big Day Revisited

How has it been 2 years already?! I really can’t believe how quickly its gone by. Tim and I went out for a lovely meal at The Malt Shovel yesterday and can’t get over it all. Our wedding day really was the most amazing day and so much fun. Literally we didn’t stop smiling all day. It went by in a flash but was filled of so many memories which we won’t forget.

So here’s a flash back to the most memorable day 2 years ago. Happy anniversary Tim! Here’s to many more years of happy memories and lots of laughter…

Getting our hair done at William Wheelwright in Oakham. My mum made the most gorgeous little hair pins which went in my undo and also made the cutest hair ornaments for my bridesmaids. Lovely start to the day!
The lovely Alice getting me wedding ready!
Absolutely loved this dress! I found at Shanna Melville at her old shop in Wimbledon Village. The lace had a lovely gold thread going through it and I found it with my Maid of Honour! I then went back with my mum and found out it was in the sample sale so we got it for £800 rather than £2600! They were down sizing and had only made the dress a month before so was in immaculate condition. Obviously meant to be <3
Tim gave Hannah a bunch of letters to give me throughout the morning with little pressies. The inflatable crown made me laugh so much! I also got some bubbles to calm my nerves and sweets to keep the hunger at bay. What a sweetie.
We got the most gorgeous flowers for the day from Sophies Flowers in Melton Mowbray. I mean how gorgeous was my bouquet…
A shot of slow gin before heading off to the Church
St Thomas of Canterbury at Exton Park was an absolutely gorgeous chapel – couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to get married.
Had to get a pic in the VW camper outside Stapleford Park <3
Me and my gorgeous bridesmaid and maid of honour
My good friend Mital made us the most perfect wedding cake and cupcakes

As a girl you do dream about your wedding day and it really surpassed everything I imagined it would be. I have so much love for everyone that made the day so perfect and for my husband who  keeps me smiling and laughing. The past 2 years have been fantastic. We’ve now been together nearly 11 years which is insane but really shows time flies by when you’re having fun.

Here’s to the the future and all the adventures to come! Counting down to Australia in December!

Hope you enjoyed this wedding recap!

Until next time,

Cathers xx
